Do you feel the yearning to tap into your deepest truth and knowing? Do you feel “off” when everything moves too fast and you don’t have time to slow down and listen to yourself?
About twenty years ago, I learned that the only way that I could create the life that I want and in fact, the only way that my life even made sense to me was to go deep inside myself and listen to what my soul was trying to tell me.
I did this through rituals and practices, journaling, quiet contemplation, meditation, healing ruins and tarot cards, and listening to my body’s messages.
Developing a strong and trusting relationship with my true self and letting her be who I am out in the world has been the biggest gift of my life’s journey.
It is only thanks to this inner wisdom that I was able to create the life of my dreams.
As I allow life to accelerate and find myself juggling 3 kids, a growing business, an exciting new project, my marriage, friends and community, I often find myself feeling strangely “off”.
Everything is going great on the surface, yet I somehow feel disconnected from it all.
Disconnected from myself.
As soon as I notice this, I know it’s imperative to MAKE SPACE in my life for time to reconnect with my soul, no matter how busy I am.
Nothing could actually be more important.
And I never regret it.
When I connect to myself, problems resolve themselves as if by magic, creative solutions come, life starts to flow with ease and I feel like myself again.
This is why I’m so happy to bring you this week’s straight-talking unedited conversation on WOMEN LIVING PASSIONATELY: Honest Conversations with Women Who Are Making a Difference with Pernilla Lillarose, author and certified Hakomi Practitioner and Self-Love Mystic & Mentor.
