§ We came to this world to LIVE OUT LOUD.
Are You Letting Fear Stop You?
Do you sometimes care too much what other people think?
I pride myself on not letting what other people think stop me from being who I am. Or doing what I want to do.
Yet I can tell you that it’s not always easy.
I’m lucky to have a strong inner rebel. She always makes sure that I’m true to myself. (And she made my parents’ lives hell in high school!)
At the same time, I’m super sensitive.
I feel it very deeply when other people don’t agree, don’t approve, judge or criticize me.
I’ve learned over the years how to work with this sensitivity so it helps me and doesn’t hinder me.
I also learned how to set firm boundaries and do what I need to do to live authentically yet I still have moments when I feel very scared and insecure inside.
I have discovered however that tempting as it may be, these moments aren’t something to avoid at all cost.
They are to be embraced because THEY ARE LIFE SHOWING US WHERE WE NEED TO GROW TO BE THE NEXT VERSION OF OURSELVES, EVEN MORE WISE, POWERFUL AND STRONG.
They lead us to the next step of our journey towards a more passionate, purposeful and authentic life.
That’s why it was such a treat this week to have a straight-talking conversation with Karen Schachter for my WOMEN LIVING PASSIONATELY series.
Karen is a therapist, coach, mama of two amazing kids and self-described passionista whose zest for life and fearlessness in following her desires and living bravely is infectious!
Karen talked about how her fear of what other people think and not being liked if she stepped fully into her greatness held her back for years until she broke free and began to live bravely.
Her journey hasn’t always been easy yet she has made a commitment to honor her desires and live on the edge, honoring her desires, on a daily basis, with a great pay-off – a life that feels authentically her and an ageless, wise and playful spirit.
Connecting with amazing women like Karen over the past week to record this series has been so much fun and so incredibly inspiring! It reminds me that we are all on this journey together and can learn from each other along the way.
That’s why I’m so excited to make these conversations available to you, completely free of charge, starting tomorrow.

You will also get weekly access to more honest conversations with amazing women who are living their passion & purpose and making a difference in the fields of relationships, parenting, eating healthy, writing, aromatherapy and so much more.
Seriously, you don’t want to miss out on this! Not only will these straight-talking conversations leave you really inspired, but you will also get ideas, tips and tools you can use to live a happier, healthier life right now!
I hope to see you there!
P.S. I would love to spread the wisdom and share these interviews with all the people who would benefit from them. Please help me out (and help your friends and family out!) by sharing on Facebook or Twitter or just by forwarding this email to anybody you know who may benefit!
