§ We came to this world to LIVE OUT LOUD!
How I Dealt with Deep Grief
There’s something that we as a culture just don’t deal with.
Something we don’t want to face.
Something horribly difficult happens – a divorce, a bankruptcy, an illness, the passing of a loved one – and we are taught to just move on.
When what we need to do is grieve.
Yet, we often don’t give ourselves the space and time to grieve.
We carry it around for years and it seeps out little by little, robbing us of joy and energy.
I get it.
Over the past couple of years, I needed to grieve the end of my marriage and the breakup of my family.
I tried to avoid the pain but then I received a sage piece of advice which helped me grieve in a way that helped me move through deeply painful emotions relatively quickly and be able to start recreating my life.
I made this video for you in case you have some pent-up grief that needs to be released.
Check out the Grief Recovery Handbook by John W. James and Russell Friedman which I mention in the video. It was an important companion for me.
I love connecting with you! Leave a comment below or send me an email at natalie@nataliematushenko.com.
Happy Thursday!
